About The Role
TFG Brands is an ambitious Retail Group. We have grown to 4 great brands operating across the UK and in eight other international destinations. Our iconic brands are Phase Eight, Whistles, Hobbs, and Inside Story. We're excited about our future and plan to expand with new brand extensions and acquisitions.
The Financial Accountant Role
Maintain and update the IFRS16 database (Innervisions) on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Post monthly IFRS 16 journals in all ledgers across the group
Update IFRS16 monthly notes in statutory format
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Manage key contacts for the Group and local audit teams, ensuring deadlines are met
Assist in preparing technical accounting memos
Assist with audit documentation and responding to queries
Prepare statutory accounts:
Preparation of trading, dormant, and international entities' statutory accounts
Submission of statutory accounts to Companies House across the group (UK)
About You
To be successful as a Financial Accountant, you'll need:
ACA or ACCA qualification, preferably with experience in professional services
Experience with IFRS and UK GAAP statutory accounts
Strong technical accounting knowledge
Excellent written and oral communication skills, influencing stakeholders effectively
Pro-active, systematic approach, with ease handling multiple tasks
