Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of financial tasks, including audit support, tax accounting, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
Audit Support: To support the Finance Manager in areas of Audit, including production of Statutory Accounts and creation of a new Stat model.
Tax Accounting: To calculate and submit VAT returns for the group and Corporation Tax returns for the group.
Financial Analysis: Analysis of financial data to provide insights into business performance, identifying trends, variances, and areas of concern.
Month-end Close: Support the Finance Manager with the month end pack and tasks as required.
Financial Reporting: Preparation of various financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including management reports, regulatory filings, and tax returns.
Ad Hoc Projects: Participating in special projects or initiatives as assigned by management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent Excel skills, and a team player mentality. They will also be able to contribute to the success of the Finance team with a blend of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and personal qualities that contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations within our team.
