About the Role:
As a Financial Accountant, you will act as the financial backbone of our operations, ensuring financial clarity, accuracy, and efficiency across our London sites. Working closely with our Senior Finance team and Directors you will:
Take ownership of financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all Arcade locations.
Prepare consolidated statutory accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries.
Compile comprehensive supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Serve as the key link between outsourced finance teams and internal stakeholders.
Oversee employee expense reimbursement and corporate credit card reconciliations to verify and validate expenditure.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes, preparing schedules for board reporting and audit analysis.
Provide financial and statistical reports to brand partners, landlords, and government agencies, including turnover rent and revenue data.
Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and flag any financial risks.
Track and analyse discounts and banking discrepancies at site level.
Manage intercompany reconciliations across different vendors and locations.
Manage daily and weekly cash flow reporting and forecasting activities to provide clear visibility over financial resources across the business.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting quality.
Oversee sales ledger functions, ensuring revenue accuracy and compliance.
Manage the preparation of VAT returns.
We'd love to hear from you if you:
Bring 3+ years of experience in a similar role ideally Financial or Management Accounting.
Have multi-business, multisite or multi-unit financial reporting experience.
Are excited about day-to-day financial reporting and controlling nuances for a multi-site restaurant business.
Thrive in a fast-paced hospitality/restaurant finance environment.
Are meticulous with numbers and able to spot discrepancies instantly.
Are confident using Xero, Aquilla, or Sharperlight, with solid Excel skills (SUMIF, VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH).
Bring a strong understanding of EPOS systems and their impact on financial accuracy.
Have a growth mindset and constantly look for ways to improve financial processes.
Are a self-starter who takes initiative without needing micromanagement.
