About The Role
The Financial Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across all our restaurants. This role is responsible for performance reporting, financial reconciliations, and cross-functional business support.
About You
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator, providing valuable financial insights to drive business success. You need to be numerically competent, have a hands-on approach, the ability to identify errors and be self-motivated to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately process and record financial transactions, including invoices, receipts and payments
Perform regular bank transaction allocations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and financial records
Support month-end and year-end financial close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting the preparation of documentation for audits
Prepare and distribute weekly KPI reports for all restaurants.
Manage internal recharge postings and key expense accruals.
Oversee inventory transfers and allocations.
Work collaboratively with senior members of the team to support their areas of responsibility
Key Skills & Capabilities
Proven experience in a similar role, with knowledge of financial processes and procedures
Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
Attention to detail with analytical skills and accuracy in managing financial records
Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial data
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
