Learns and uses the Banner software system
Learns Federal policies and guidelines for the FAFSA
Assists students with filling out the FAFSA
Reviews and collects required documents at the front counter of the Financial Aid Department
Greets students / other visitors in a pleasant and courteous manner
Performs clerical duties such as filing, typing, scanning, photocopying, answering phones, and taking messages
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor
General Expectations : Employees are expected to accomplish assigned duties in an efficient, effective and competent manner and to strive for improvement and excellence in all work performed
Additionally, employees must understand the comprehensive role of the community college and cooperate and work harmoniously with students, faculty and staff, and the public
Employees will follow all college policies, rules, regulations and guidelines as they relate to this position
Work Environment : Work is primarily performed under general supervision

Position Summary

Note : Cochise College requires a post offer, pre-employment background screening of all employees.
