Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Testing Coordinator for our Manhattan office.
On a typical day you will:
Manage all aspects specifically related to the testing and violations process
Coordinate high volume testing with multiple 3rd party jurisdictions to ensure on time completion of all required tests and filings
Assist the Testing and Violations Manager in all aspects of the testing process including reporting, tracking and coordination
Work closely with the service supervisors, mechanics, sales representatives and customer relationship managers to achieve testing goals
Ensure timely testing, manage the paperwork associated with the filing process & understand the Department of Buildings process
What you will need to be successful
2-3 years of testing and violation process experience preferred but not required
Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
Goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills
Outgoing personality with customers and building personnel
High School degree or equivalent required
Prior experience working with the Department of Buildings preferred

The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $100,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
