Job Description
Southbridge is the owner and operator of long-term care homes and retirement communities in Ontario. Responsibilities:
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Participate in the annual budgeting process.
Analyze and submit regulatory and tax compliance to all provincial/local regulations and laws and regulations.
Participate in the interim and year end audit process
Prepare and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet and bank accounts
Assist with any ad-hoc projects throughout the several finance team functions
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance.
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) obtained or in progress.
Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel.
Strong business analytical abilities and attention to detail.
Minimum of one year work experience as a financial analyst,
Master's degree in business administration (MBA) with a concentration in finance or finance degree.
Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial information to non-financial team members.
Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
