The India Accounting organization supports marketplace and retail business segments and engages in business launches relating to these segments.
We are currently looking for dynamic and motivated individuals who are currently at the accountant / senior accountant levels for Bangalore location. The ideal candidate must possess hands on experience in operational accounting with superior attention to detail and the ability to deal with ambiguity. This role has regular interaction with various other business and finance functions so strong communication and interpersonal skills are a prerequisite. This position is expected to have a strong sense of ownership, ability to deliver results and commitment to highest standards of quality.
Key job responsibilities
1. Manage day to day operational accounting for MP and retail segment and carry out the month end close activities.
2. Partner with the business and finance stake holders for various new business launches and articulate the accounting impact for the same
3. Drive process improvements and bring in efficiencies including automation and reduction in the manual journal entries.
4. Interact closely with FP&A, projects team, tech teams and stakeholders from Seattle for various operational challenges, new initiatives and new entity launches.
5. Coordinating with the statutory and tax auditors for audits of all the India legal entities and preparation of underlying audit schedules
