About the role

What you'll be doing
Manage the full spectrum of financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close processes
Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide the management team with insightful financial data to support decision-making
Oversee the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external auditors to ensure regulatory compliance
Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard the company's financial assets
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic financial initiatives to drive the company's growth and profitability
What we're looking for
Qualified Accountant with minimum 5 years experience in the automotive industry
Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
Strong technical accounting skills and a thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information for non-financial stakeholders
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team
Proficient in using financial management software and tools, such as ERP systems and data analysis software
