About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Financial Controller to manage daily accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will handle bookkeeping, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and assist in preparing financial statements in compliance with applicable regulations and internal controls.
Main Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that meet regulatory requirements.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts on a regular basis.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and settlements.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audits to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, standards, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare tax returns and regulatory documents as required.
• Support year-end closing processes and external audits.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and company information at all times.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books) is essential. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills are necessary for this role. Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools is also required. Strong organizational and time-management abilities are essential for managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
