Job Description
Timely reporting of CRA requirements: HST, Payroll, T4s
Accounting oversight with related holding and management companies
Oversight of financial administrative staff
Efficient delivery of accounting related duties to Realtors
Preparation of financial statements and regular reporting
Interacting with banking representatives and related software
Interacting with Accounting software provider
Oversight of monies being received/disbursed from various accounts
Evaluate financial position and provide recommendations
Ensuring bank accounts are reconciled in a regular timely manner
Oversight of brokerage Trust account
Monthly reconciliations of various GL accounts
Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting focused role
Experience managing employees
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
Accounting designation such as a Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified General Accountant (CGA).

Working conditions:
This position will be conducted on a daily basis within RE/MAX nova offices as agreed upon. This position will require occasional short distance travel to other offices or event sites. RE/MAX nova shall provide hardware and software to perform duties as required.
Attendance Requirements:
Expectation of a 40-50 hour work-week during office hours, with standard vacation time (depending on experience & qualifications). Appearance shall be in a professional, office like attire as outlined in the Company Policies & Procedures document.
