We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our finance team as an IS&T Finance Controller. The IS&T Finance Controller will be responsible for the reporting, non-operating expenses monitoring, headcount reconciliation and fee (recharge) reconciliation for our Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) department.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the IS&T department.
Monitor non-operating expenses, including capital expenditures and project costs, and provide analysis and insights to the senior management team.
Ensure accurate and timely headcount reconciliation, working closely with HR and IS&T managers to maintain up-to-date records.
Reconcile and recharge fees to units for IS&T services provided, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and track financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and provide recommendations to the senior management team.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
Lead ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
5+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a technology or IT services environment.
Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning and reporting software such as SAP
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and work collaboratively to achieve business objectives.
