Job Details
Responsibilities
• Oversee the preparation and filing of all external financial reports, including 10-Q and 10-K filings, in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Manage SOX compliance and ensure all financial procedures and controls are in line with SOX regulations.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the finance team, ensuring all accounting activities are in accordance with GAAP.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues.
• Perform financial analysis, prepare detailed financial reports, and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in public accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance.
• Proven experience with technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong proficiency in financial software and reporting systems, including Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
