Job Title: Financial Manager
The Accounts Manager is responsible for finance, accounting, budgeting, taxation, CAPEX and OPEX. This role plays a crucial part in the financial well-being of the organization.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing financial appraisals and data for financing working capital.
• Preparation of monthly stock statements, projected financials, and diligence certificates.
• Handling foreign exchange transactions, including payments, receipts, and fluctuations.
• Liaising with bankers, preparing and filing documents as required.
• Accounting Functions:
• Reviewing compliance with accounting systems and procedures.
• Supervising the preparation of statutory books and finalization of year-end financial statements.
• Maintaining accounting systems, financial statements, and ensuring accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Preparing and maintaining stock records, conducting stock verification and reconciliation.
• Reporting on company performance, scrutinizing accounting processes and operational divisions.
• Handling working capital management, ratio analysis, and cash flow analysis.
• Monthly ledger scrutiny of all accounts.
• Ensuring insurance policy renewals and claims processing.
• Sales accounting and accounts receivable.
• Reconciling various accounts, including receivables, payables, and intercompany transactions.
• Capital asset management and fixed asset register maintenance.
• Proper accounting treatments and document filing supervision.
• Budgetary Control:
• Formulating budgets, conducting variance analysis, and implementing corrective measures.
• Initiating productivity, cost efficiency, inventory utilization, yield improvements, and OE enhancements.
• Preparing product costing and tracking purchase price and usage variances.
• Improving overall plant operations by working closely with Plant heads.
• Budgeting involves capex budget, revenue budget, opex budget, volume budget, yield budget, sales forecast, and cost allocation.
• Cost control and commercial activity involvement.
• Controlling capital budgeting and capex activities.
• Taxation:
• Ensuring proper documentation for service tax, sales tax, export/import, TDS/TCS, and GST.
• Filing tax returns and making payments on time under GST, excise, vat/sales tax, service tax, customs, TDS/TCS.
• Supervising online GST reconciliations, RG23A, RG23C, Form IV, and RG I register for excise purposes.
• Arranging refund claims and rebate applications.
• Attending sales tax assessments, Commissioner of Excise notices, and services tax representations.
• Others:
• Support payroll processing, Full & Final Settlement computation, PF, ESI, and PT computation and payment.
• Providing training for new hires on project processes.
