Financial Planning and Analysis

The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citis financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to utilize specialty knowledge to create reports/analyses that gauge Citis alignment with forecasted performance.Responsibilities:Contribute to the estimation of risk capital and incorporate results into management reports and decision processesAssist with the analysis of Citis/Citis competitors financial performanceAid in the annual planning and periodic forecasting processes and review results against plans monthly; participate in annual budget and monthly estimate processUse metrics to assist in the evaluation of proposed business decisionsAnalyze key management review presentations for individual Regions and ProductsParticipate in time critical activities for client facing Financial Planning and Analysis TeamsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:2-5 years of experience in accounting and/or financeDemonstrated knowledge of financial, analytical, and reporting toolsProficient with Microsoft Office applications, Excel and PowerPoints skills preferredDemonstrated analytical skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsEducation:CFA/CA/MBA and 2-5 years of work experience
