Job Description
Our client is a Global Broking firm, they are looking for a Qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA Accountant (at least 2 years Post Qualified) to join a team of 5 in London to focus on delivering value to the business in analysis of trends within the Group reporting function. This would suit a hands on individual, someone who is happy to get involved and add value to the role. The position is hybrid - team typically do tue/wed/ thurs in the office and other days from home.
• Preparation of monthly accounts for group reporting - full Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet review
• Overseeing Preparation of annual statutory accounts for UK subsidiaries
• Quarterly regulatory reporting to FCA, MAS and NFA
• Preparation of monthly draft tax computation for UK subsidiaries
• Liaise with auditors and preparation of schedules for auditors
• Monitoring and developing internal controls and systems
• Investigate / problem-solve ad hoc queries from UK and overseas entities
• Identify and support continuous changes and improvements within the businessmonthly invoicing of clients across a range of product lines
• Analysing and interpreting reports relative to budgets / comparatives
• Reporting and discussing variance analysis / trends with senior group accounting staff
• Tightly managing departmental budgets in relation to projects and procurement spend
• Liaising with heads of departments to review spend compared to budget / forecast
• Capturing and developing new reporting concepts to aid business decisions
• Monthly software capitalisation reviews
