Grade 11/12 £45,441- £50,512 (qualification bar at £47,420) (2026/25 pay award pending)

We are currently recruiting a Financial Services Manager who will work with the Assistant Director of Finance, Revenues and Benefits to deliver a professional finance service across the council.
Responsible for the Financial Services team, you will lead on a range of activities including preparation of the council’s revenue and capital budgets, regular budget monitoring reporting, treasury management and production of the council’s statutory accounts.
You will bring fresh ideas and a modern approach to continuously improve the finance service provision and work collaboratively across the organisation to support new projects and initiatives.
You must have strong technical accounting knowledge with an understanding of local government finance and its regulatory environment.
You will already be a qualified accountant or be working towards a CCAB qualification with significant relevant experience.
