Senior Accountant RoleThe role of a senior accountant involves leading the review and preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other key documents. They oversee offshore teams, ensuring quality and timeliness in collaboration with onshore CPA teams.Key responsibilities include:Reviewing and preparing compilation financial statements and T2,T3010, T5013 returnsReviewing GST/HST, T-slip reconciliations, investment summariesInvestigating and resolving discrepanciesSummarizing client financialsLeading and mentoring offshore teamsCollaborating with onshore teamsDriving process improvementsThis role requires strong accounting and tax knowledge, leadership and review skills, as well as experience with Caseware, TaxPrep, Profile, QuickBooks, and MS Office.
