Position Purpose: As the Fitness Operations Leader, you will report to the District Operations Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the Service team and manage daily operations, ensuring excellence throughout the gym. You will be the face of our commitment to exceptional service, greeting and directing members, guests, and team members alike.
Responsibilities:
• Create an elevated member experience by actively listening to their needs and concerns.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff, including kids club, front desk, and maintenance teams.
• Communicate clearly with staff regarding goals, expectations, and procedures.
• Provide constructive feedback to staff to help them grow and improve.
• Ensure high-quality customer service by addressing member inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining certifications and implementing safety protocols.
• Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, including equipment and common areas.
• Collaborate with Sales, Fitness, Facilities, and Marketing teams to enhance overall gym performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Manage communication during emergencies or unexpected situations to ensure member and staff safety.
Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of experience in operations management.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 3-4 years of customer service experience.
• Previous experience or a strong interest in the fitness industry is a plus.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with people across all functions.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Requirements:
• Pass a background check successfully.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of current company policies and SOPs is essential.
• Able to work in a gym environment and communicate effectively.
• Proficient in using company computer systems for various tasks.
• Ability to frequently lift over 40 lbs.
Salary Range: $65,000 USD
