The Role: Fixed Assets Specialist (Record to Report) - [on-site] US Shift
The Team: Be part of a global record to report team and collaborate with domestic and international retained staff, the Real Estate and Fixed Assets teams, and all global business units focusing on achieving team/company objectives.
The Impact: This position is responsible for helping the Fixed Asset Manager oversee the consolidation and analysis of the S&P Global Property, Plant, and Equipment, and reporting the monthly activities to the business units, internal auditors, and the Corporate Controller’s office.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate and provide meaningful analysis for the Corporation’s Property and Equipment.
• Review consolidated balance sheet and expense schedules for Property and Equipment.
• Monitor all risk control assessments on a quarterly/yearly basis.
• Implement and review all U.S. and local statutory tax requirements.
• Support monthly close process in the Oracle Fixed Asset system.
• Use the Agile process to propose and implement all enhancements, fixes, and upgrades for the Oracle Fixed Asset system.
• Monitor policy compliance for capitalizing and disposing S&P Global fixed assets.
• Provide information for all internal and external auditors.
• Coordinate all fixed asset activities for acquisitions and dispositions.
• Work closely with TCS technical team to ensure Fixed Assets module is functioning properly.
Qualifications
• 3-4 years of accounting and reconciliation in multinational corporate environment
• Accounting degree
• Experience with Oracle R12 and system maintenance
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word)
• Very good communication skills
• Must be assertive to follow up on resolving issues, ability to multitask in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Ability to work independently
• This person will be working US shift, 100% time work in the office
