Job Summary:
The Fleet Marketing Manager (UK) role sits within the BYD UK Marketing team representing the ‘voice of fleet‘ . Taking their direction from the head of fleet sales you will develop programmes and support activities to position BYD Fleet in the right channels and events to maximise exposure leading to profitable sales growth.
This is a new position and affords the opportunity to shape the role from the ground up. The position is based in London (Uxbridge).
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Develop a calendar of fleet oriented events to ensure BYD fleet is positioned correctly with the UK fleet market
• Develop and implement a fleet marketing strategy, including specific fleet paid media communications, collateral materials to support the BYD fleet sales and retailer fleet sales functions
• Ensure BYD UK website content is aligned with fleet market needs and regularly updated with appropriate content.
• Support the RV & Remarketing manager in the design, development and implementation of point of sale (POS) and EPOS material for the promotion of the BYD Approved Used programme both physical and online
• Participate in fleet,used vehicle, residual value events, building relationships with the key industry stakeholders to influence and align our marketing and communications to support fleet sales and maintain strong used vehicle RVs
• Collect and analyse market data, monitor marketing performance and market feedback of competitor activity (that are in the public domain), prepare reports and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of our marketing and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• Possessing a degree level education with a proven experience in marketing management at an OEM, leasing company or agency of marketing services and solutions, with a solid knowledge of the market, regulations and best practices.
• Advanced project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and possess above average decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention for detail.
• Excellent communication, presentation and coordination skills, with the ability to establish productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with strong influencing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, with the ability to conduct data analysis and report writing.
• The ability to communicate and articulate complex subjects in simple language that everyone can understand.
• Strong team collaboration and leadership abilities, with the capacity to drive teams towards common goals and effectively coordinate and communicate in cross-functional collaborations.
• A motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently, in a fast paced environment where common sense and initiative are essential personal traits.
• Willingness to travel as required in the Uk and further afield as required.
