About your opportunity:
Innisfail Hospital is a 49-bed rural hospital providing general health care services at level 3-4 clinical service capability framework.
About your role:
Manage and process all patient related accounts for the Hospital facility, ensuring relevant Health fund forms are completed, and /or payment of relevant fees are received.
Work autonomously and show initiative in solving basic problems within established guidelines with minimum supervision.
Maintain harmonious and productive work relationships and be a contributing team member committed to the principle of patient focussed care and the concept of total quality service.
Assist the Revenue Manager or other Senior Revenue Officers as required with all aspects of Revenue Control including the follow up of patient and sundry debtor accounts as required.
Ensure all accounting functions comply with the Financial Management Practice Manual.
