Join a company at the forefront of social impact, driving first-of-its-kind positive change. You’ll be part of a high-performance culture where you'll make a huge impact, rapidly progress your career, and truly enjoy your work.

From top-tier coaching and personal development budgets to competitive salaries, we take care of everyone who works at Beam.

We’ve already seen incredible growth from our Magic Notes product, helping case workers save over 8 hours of admin per week. From social workers and NHS clinicians to mental health practitioners and safeguarding specialists, over 50,000 frontline workers across the UK are now using Magic Notes regularly to deliver faster, more human-centred support. We’re also launching globally, helping practitioners across the USA, EU, and Australia make a difference.

The Role

We’re seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Founding Account Executive to lead Beam's exciting expansion into Australia with our innovative platform, Magic Notes. Working in an elite team directly with some of the most senior salespeople at Beam, this pivotal role will be instrumental in driving our initial market entry, securing our first Australian partnerships, establishing our impact, and directly contributing to our ambitious scaling journey. You will be at the forefront of introducing Magic Notes to key sectors within Australia, such as social services and NDIS.

Magic Notes is an AI-powered tool, already used and loved by hundreds of frontline care organisations in the UK, designed to significantly reduce administrative burdens for frontline workers across various fields. This is a hands-on and high-impact role where you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing deals. You’ll be instrumental in validating our product-market fit in Australia, laying the groundwork for future growth, all while helping frontline services drastically improve their delivery of care and support.

You’ll be:

Executing our Go-to-Market Strategy: Taking ownership of and implementing the initial market entry strategy for Magic Notes in Australia.

Building and Owning Your Pipeline: Identifying, engaging, and nurturing potential partners within the Australian market to build a robust and probability-weighted pipeline to achieve ambitious sales targets. This includes independently researching prospects, initiating contact, and moving them through the sales process.

Closing Deals: Effectively presenting the value proposition of Magic Notes, negotiating terms, and closing deals with key decision-makers in target organisations.

Cultivating Strong Relationships: Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels within prospect organisations.

Providing Market Feedback: Gathering and relaying valuable insights from the Australian market to the product and leadership teams to inform product development and market strategy.

Contributing to Sales Strategy: Testing and contributing to the development of effective sales strategies and playbooks for the Australian market.

Reporting and Tracking Progress: Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and progress within our CRM system, Hubspot, to enable accurate forecasting and performance analysis.

You’ll have:

Exceptional Drive and Resilience: You are exceptionally results-driven, persistent in the face of challenges, and possess a strong self-starter mentality.

Proven Relationship Building Skills: You have a natural ability to build rapport and establish trust with individuals at all levels.

Top-Class Communication Skills: You possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

A Strategic Mindset: You can think strategically about market opportunities and develop effective approaches to engage potential partners.

An Adaptive and Growth Mindset: You thrive in a dynamic environment, are comfortable with ambiguity, and are eager to learn and adapt quickly.

Nice to have:

Experience in a fast-paced startup environment

Experience working with or selling into state or local government as well as charities in Australia OR having sold into providers working to provide care under the NDIS scheme.

Success looks like:

Successfully closing initial deals in the Australian market, demonstrating the value and impact of Magic Notes.

Building a strong and qualified pipeline of Australian-based prospects.

Providing valuable market insights that inform Beam’s Australian market strategy and product development.

Establishing a foundational sales process for future growth in Australia.

Contributing to Beam’s overall international expansion and revenue targets.
