We are looking for a skilled and passionate Front-End Android Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical role in enhancing the user experience, maintaining high-quality code, and implementing new features to make our vision a reality. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about mobile development and has a deep interest in spirituality and astrology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and Maintain: Lead the front-end development of our Android app, Sacrena, ensuring a seamless and responsive user interface that reflects our unique brand and mission.
• Collaborate: Work closely with our design, backend, and product teams to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Implement New Features: Leverage modern Android frameworks and libraries (e.g., AndroidX, Material Components, Dagger Hilt) to introduce new features that enhance user engagement and overall app performance.
• SDK Integration: Manage and maintain the integration of third-party SDKs, including GetStream for chat functionality and Adaptly for payment processing.
• Optimize Performance: Continuously improve the app’s performance by identifying bottlenecks, bugs, and ensuring the app is optimized for various Android devices.
• Code Review: Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality, readability, and performance.
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure Sacrena remains a cutting-edge product.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in Android development with a strong focus on front-end development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin: Deep understanding of Kotlin and its ecosystem. Experience with Java is a plus.
• Frameworks & Tools: Experience with modern Android frameworks and tools including AndroidX, Material Design, Dagger Hilt, Room, Retrofit, and Glide.
• Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control.
• API Integration: Experience integrating RESTful APIs using Retrofit or similar libraries.
• SDK Experience: Familiarity with GetStream for chat SDK integration and Adaptly for payment solutions is a strong advantage.
• UI/UX Expertise: Strong understanding of Material Design principles and ability to create clean, polished, and responsive user interfaces.
• Testing: Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Espresso.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to write clean, maintainable code and an eye for design and user experience.
• Interest in Spirituality and Astrology: A genuine interest in the spiritual and astrological focus of Sacrena is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in optimizing app performance for different Android versions and devices.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and data protection.
