About the Role:

Subject matter expert in designing and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of end-users. You will work on both the front-end and back-end of application development, creating intuitive user interfaces, building APIs, and ensuring seamless integration between the server and client-side components. You will collaborate with teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver and maintain high-quality software products. You will report to The Lead Manager for Digital Delivery.

You Will:
• Design, programme, debug and modify software products and applications.
• Develop web applications using a combination of front-end and back-end technologies.
• Design user interfaces and implement user-friendly features that enhance the user experience.
• Build scalable and secure APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between the server and client-side components.
• Build the CI/CD pipelines to improve developer productivity, and code quality.
• Build automated testing to reduce manual effort and improve product quality.
• Respond to customer requests, troubleshooting, reported problems of the applications performance and reliability.
• Research and remain informed of new technology and development tools.
• Monitor issues with the focus of determining cause and understanding patterns to improve the product, delivery methodology and overall organisation.
• Provide operational readiness through the engineering, planning and coordination of performance and tuning analysis, systems support, incident and problem resolution, software configuration and system/features upgrades.

You Have:
• Experience in technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience in server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java, along with frameworks like Express, Django, Ruby on Rails, or Spring.
• Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and experience with ORM frameworks like Sequelize, SQLAlchemy, or Hibernate.
