Since OpenAI's Dev Day in November 2026, AI has completely transformed our business. We’ve noticed four types of companies when it comes to AI:
• Those who don’t know what AI is or think it’s just a fad.

• Those who invest in AI and incorporate it into their products.

Your Day-to-Day
As a Full Stack Tech Lead at Corvee, an innovative tax-focused startup, you'll join a dynamic, in-office team of engineers, product innovators, and tax pros who love collaboration, laughter, and occasional fierce ping pong matches. While much of our team works remotely, our office crew thrives on the energy of in-person collaboration.
Here’s what a typical day might look like:
• Rapidly build and iterate on new features for both internal and external apps, leveraging AI wherever possible.
• Seamlessly switch from styling in Tailwind CSS to tackling complex JavaScript problems, navigating data architectures, and collaborating with our fullstack team.
• Work closely with our talented engineers and tax experts to revolutionize the industry.
• As you grow with us, you’ll have the opportunity to help expand the engineering team and accelerate our development efforts.

Front End:
• Vue
• Nuxt
• TypeScript
• Tailwind CSS
Back End:
• Go
• Docker on AWS ECS/Fargate
• PostgreSQL on AWS RDS
We’re also heavy users of LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) across both product and internal development.
What We Hope You Bring to the Team
• 4+ years of JavaScript development experience
• Proficiency in HTML & CSS
• Bonus: Experience building SPAs with Vue.js
• Comfort with Git
• Experience working with REST APIs
• A passion for creating seamless, fluid user experiences
• A love for solving tough problems—together
Our Software
We've developed multi-entity, multi-year tax planning software used by business owners aiming to stop overpaying taxes each year.
Our software addresses two key challenges:
• Corvee Tax Planning: Strategically identifying opportunities to save on taxes, enabling better financial decision-making with a clear understanding of tax implications. (Demo at corvee.com).
• Instead Implementation & Preparation: Simplifying the complex tax code for small business owners. (Live at instead.com).
