About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Fund Accountant for CBRE Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions, an exciting, growing environment. Contributors in this role assist the team by collaboratively producing fund accounting deliverables.
What You'll Do
• Prepare and analyze periodic net asset value (NAV) calculations.
• Support production of fund financial statements and other required financial information, including investor commitments, asset accrual methodology, and output.
• Support the daily activities of the treasury and cash management functions of the fund.
• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and various other accounting statements or financial reports.
• Review the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications.
• Maintain, record, and reconcile billings and accounts receivables for small to medium-sized clients, markets, or accounts.
• Create month-end accounting entries. Reconcile discrepancies and posts to the general ledger.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and review transactional activity for accuracy.
• Examine reports for conformance with accounting requirements and fundamentals.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure requests are handled timely, accurately, and with a focus on customer service.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 1+ years of accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Proven experience in fund level accounting with fund accounting software systems such as Yardi preferred.
• Requires knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) regulations including financial terms and principles.
Massachusetts Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $65,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $80,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
