Job Purpose:
Reconciliation team is part of Portfolio accounting which provides daily Cash, stock position and cash forecast to fund manager of the client for trading. Reconciliation is a key activity ensuring client has all the correct number to trade for the day.
Job Background/context:
This role be part of reconciliation team supporting EMEA client.
Experience:
Atleast 3 to 5 years in banking domain.
Must have:
• Reconciliation
• Corporate Action
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily Middle office Trades, Position and Cash Reconciliations
• Investigation of stock and cash breaks and ensure timely resolution
• Work with internal Citi teams to ensure timely closure of open action items
• Query and follow up with Custody/Brokers on the open breaks and drive resolution
• Demonstrate initiative and lead ongoing development of team processes, procedures, and positive working environment
• Adherence to procedures and service level agreement.
• Assist in the prompt investigation and resolution of client queries, and ensure client Service Level Agreement (SLA) and deadlines are met
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
