My client is one of the most prestigious multi-billion dollar AUM global hedge funds out there. They operate a multi-strategy approach that covers all major strategies. They have been successful in making a number of high profile portfolio manager hires over the past 12 months so have been looking to expand their fund accounting team as a result of this continued growth. Although this role will sit within their fund accounting team, it will have a much broader remit than traditional fund accounting roles at other firms. It will be highly analytical, working on several interesting projects. On top of typical hedge fund benefits package, they are able to offer large salary uplifts and sign on bonuses meaning candidates would not need to give up their full bonus from 2026 to move to this firm. They are ideally looking for fund accountants from other investment firms, however would be open to broader skillsets such as product control. A strong academic background is also a requirement.
