Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Fund Controller (Living) to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary and 12% car allowance.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of residential property funds, including build-to-rent, affordable housing, and student accommodation. You’ll be working closely with fund managers, investors, and third-party providers to deliver strong financial outcomes and support the growth of innovative investment products.
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting fund and asset management teams in delivering fund strategy and structuring transactions
Providing financial planning, budgeting, and stress testing to promote value for investors
Reviewing and signing off high-risk financial outputs from outsourced administrators
Ensuring accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting
Advising on financial performance indicators and risk mitigation strategies
Acting as a trusted adviser to internal stakeholders on fund-related financial matters
Leading financial input into onboarding new products, assets, and suppliers
Presenting financial insights to internal boards and external investors
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Strong experience in private markets or real assets fund finance
In-depth knowledge of UK residential property funds and fund structures
Proficiency in fund accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
Ability to analyse financial performance and communicate insights clearly
Experience working with third-party administrators and internal stakeholders
Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders and external clients
A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
