Job Overview:
The Human Resources (HR) Specialist/Generalist is responsible for managing and executing various HR functions across the organization. This role involves recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. The HR Specialist/Generalist works closely with management and employees to foster a positive work environment while ensuring HR practices align with company policies and employment laws.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
5 - 8 years of experience in HR roles (HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or similar).
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
US staffing experience is a big plus
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring decisions.
Handle new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for employees into the company, conducting orientation sessions, and assisting with paperwork.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on workplace issues.
Foster a positive work environment by organizing employee engagement activities and recognizing employee achievements.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to inform retention strategies.
Performance Management:
Assist managers in developing performance evaluation frameworks and conducting regular employee appraisals.
Support employee development through training programs, career planning, and succession planning.
Provide feedback and coaching to managers and employees to enhance performance and job satisfaction.
Benefits Administration:
Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
Educate employees on benefit options and ensure timely enrollment and claims processing.
Work with benefit vendors to resolve employee issues and maintain cost-effective benefit solutions.
