Job description

What will you do?
As an accountant, you will be an essential part of our finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting and smooth accounting operations. You will be part of the global finance team and work closely together with our CFO and Financial Controlling Manager in overseeing the financial processes, handling month-end closings, and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards. Your expertise will help optimize accounting workflows and maintain financial accuracy across multiple entities.
Scope of work:
- Prepare and execute month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting (for Indian entity and other entities in the group).
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with accounting principles.
- Assist in the group consolidation process and financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Collaborate with external accountants to ensure tax compliance and alignment with local financial regulations.
- Complete Payroll Processing, Periodic Tax and other statutory compliances (TDS, GST,PF, ESI, Labor Compliances) etc.
- Compliance Documents overviewing alliance with HR and other external parties.
- Monthly inter and intra company invoicing.
- Annual Budget planning with stake holders.
- Manage inter-company transactions, eliminations, and foreign exchange (FX) reconciliations.
- Support audits by preparing and reviewing financial statements, reconciliations, and required documentation.
- Assist in improving financial processes, automation, and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure cost centre accounting and budget tracking, supporting business control functions.
- Work closely with the CFO, Financial Controlling Manager and finance team to implement best practices in financial reporting.
- We ask
- 5-10 years of experience in accounting or financial controlling in an international environment.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent certification. CA is a plus..
- Strong understanding of month-end and year-end closing processes, balance sheet control, and reconciliations.
- Experience with group consolidations and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of inter-company transactions, eliminations, and FX reconciliations.
- Familiarity with cost center accounting, financial compliance, and tax regulations.
- Ability to work with financial systems and reporting tools beyond Excel (ERP and/or BI tools preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English
- Experience in a services business is a plus but not required.
- Availability to start immediately or within a maximum of one month's notice.
