Job Description
Key responsibilities include -
1. Accounts
- Managing day to day accounting
- Ensuring accuracy of general ledger accounts
- Preparation of accounts, book closures etc
- Preparing quarterly and annual financial statements
2. Controls and Recons
- Payments controls and reconciliations
- Expense controls and reconciliations
- Store level controls and reconciliations
- Franchisee controls and reconciliations
3. Taxation
- Managing direct and indirect taxes end to end
4. Technology and Team Management
a. Working with teams and support business/operations
b. Internal time management and task allocation to the finance team reporting to this
role
c. Working on technology upgrades within finance function to drive productivity
Desired competencies to perform the job successfully -
- Certified Chartered Accountant
- 8-12 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting and experience
- Knowledge and experience with IndAS will be an added advantage
- Retail industry experience preferred
- Exceptional team management abilities
- Excellent knowledge of MS suite
- Exposure to ERP accounting softwares (MS Dynamics/Navision
