Canyon City Construction LP is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking General Manager to lead one of Yukon’s growing Indigenous-owned construction and aggregate operations.
This is more than a leadership role — it is an opportunity to help shape major infrastructure and development projects across the Yukon while contributing to long-term Indigenous economic growth and community impact.
Reporting directly to the CEO of Chu Níikwän Limited Partnership, the General Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across construction project delivery, gravel and aggregate operations, business development, financial performance, and team leadership.
In This Role, You Will:
Lead diverse construction and aggregate operations across the Yukon
Drive operational excellence, profitability, and sustainable growth
Build and mentor high-performing teams in a safety-first environment
Develop strong partnerships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
Play a key role in advancing Indigenous business leadership and economic development
We Are Looking For:
A proven leader with 10+ years of senior construction or operations management experience
Strong business acumen with demonstrated P&L and project delivery success
Experience in heavy civil, aggregate, or resource operations is considered a strong asset
A collaborative and strategic professional with exceptional leadership and communication skills
