General Sales Manager – Honda & Acura of Thornhill

What You’ll Do:
Lead from the front: Inspire and manage the Sales Management, Brand Ambassador, and F&I teams with a focus on performance, accountability, and continuous development.
Coach to excellence: Actively mentor team members on deal structure, customer interactions, and consistent execution of a proven, customer-focused sales process.
Drive process discipline: Establish and reinforce consistent lead management, appointment setting, and reporting standards to support a reliable, scalable sales pipeline.
Inventory leadership: Manage new and used vehicle inventory levels, aging, and performance, ensuring a healthy balance aligned with market trends and profitability goals.
Used car growth: Collaborate with the Pre-Owned Manager and corporate partners to expand used vehicle operations and drive gross per unit improvements.
Volume accountability: Lead your team to achieve over 4,000 new and used retail units annually, with a balance of volume and profitability.
F&I oversight: Directly oversee F&I Managers and ensure consistent achievement of F&I targets, adherence to compliance standards, and a seamless transition from sales to delivery.
Operational execution: Partner with Compliance Administrators to ensure accuracy in paperwork, funding timeliness, and OEM program execution.
Customer engagement: Stay actively involved on the floor—supporting key interactions and reinforcing the customer experience through leadership presence.
Strategic planning: Develop monthly and quarterly sales strategies aligned with store objectives and corporate expectations.
Lead measures focus: Monitor KPIs and coach around critical lead measures to ensure consistent results and predictable performance.
What You Bring:
A proven track record in automotive retail sales leadership, preferably in a high-volume environment
Experience overseeing both front-end sales and F&I performance
Strong knowledge of inventory management and used car operations
A hands-on leadership style with a passion for developing people
Valid Ontario G Driver’s License and OMVIC Certification
Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills
