GL staff accountant

DescriptionSupport BMcD US domestic General Ledger team with: Fixed asset processes and journal entries Monthly account reconciliations for various GL accounts Cash Management on daily basis for multiple accounts Closing of Cash Management on monthly basis for AZCO/BMCD Preparing journal entries for bank fees/Interest income for cash accounts Monthly preparation and review of Marketing & Administrative costs that will be shared with the Engineering/Construction business users Preparing Corporate Department Overhead Review files and variance analysis Maintain and update internal monthly reporting templates Review new and modified lease agreements and input key terms into Lease Accounting system Other ad hoc reporting, analysis, and month-end close duties Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting. Chartered Accountant or Inter CA preferred but not required 6 years professional work experience preferred, preferably with exposure to monthly financial reporting, account reconciliations, and financial statement close processes Experience with Oracle is preferred but not required Must be self-motivated, detailed, well organized and have strong issue-resolution skills Excellent oral and written communication skills required Job Accounting/Finance Primary Location India-Maharashtra-Mumbai Schedule: Full-time Travel: No Req ID: 221572
