Global IT Software Engineer Manager

WHAT YOU'LL DO The ideal candidate will be responsible for the configuration and operations of the Icertis platform within BCG, supporting the firm’s Legal functions. Working in an Agile squad environment, the candidate will be a hands-on contributor to all aspects of the delivery cycle. As a key technical resource, the candidate will work closely with other groups in enabling new functionality, assisting with platform configurations, helping to define sprints, and partnering with members of the functional team and the product owner to define requirements. The candidate will be focused but not limited to: • Assist in completing tasks to implement, enhance and monitor health of the contract management system (Icertis) • Manage and run the Business efforts based on business priorities, developing user stories and system specifications through Software Development Lifecycle • Lead development efforts as well as supervise vendor resources during major initiatives • Assist with creation and implementation of comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of applications prior to deployment • Assist with building change management and training plans for any new system implementations, and provide post-implementation support for users • Work with Legal & Risk stakeholders to document and test enhancements to existing systems • Work closely with the vendor to understand the functionality of the SaaS solution • Create and maintain the knowledge articles for Level 1 support by the Service Center • Perform technical analysis of new business requirements • Assist and provide technical support on issues, to ensure proper root cause analysis and quick remediation • Work collaboratively with team in supporting the current application environment YOU'RE GOOD AT • Applying Agile product delivery methodologies and principles, including work estimation techniques • Working closely with key stakeholders and providing a high level of customer service in a friendly, professional manner • Leveraging strong analytical abilities and creative problem solving • Learning new tools and technologies with a high degree of technical competence • Advanced verbal and written communication skills • Showing a commitment to deliver high quality work on time • Expert problem-solving skills, with the ability to determine issue root causes and produce creative solutions • Working with multicultural distributed team located in different time zones and have the capacity to work on multiple projects concurrently. • Excellent documentation skills • Working independently with limited direction YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, or equivalent, in a related field • Minimum of 7-+ years of experience supporting systems in an analyst role • Proven ability to understand and capture business requirements and implement those requirements in a product • Testing and quality assurance best practices preferred • Experience in working with cloud-based (SaaS) products and platform user support • Advanced knowledge of working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and task management software (i.e. JIRA or similar tool) • Experience working in an Agile team on critical line-of-business applications • Experience working with software systems management is required • Proficiency in speaking, writing, reading, and presenting in English is required • Experience with the Icertis platform is preferred YOU'LL WORK WITH You don’t have to fit into a mould at BCG—there isn’t one.
