WHAT YOU'LL DO

Our Global Services HR team has an opportunity for an experienced HR Director to join our HR Business Partnering team. As a Global Services HR Director, you will serve as a strategic business partner and primary point of contact for people leaders in Enterprise Services.

Enterprise Services is a new, rapidly growing organization within BCG, which is designed to provide an exceptional experience of BCG processes, through innovative, resilient services and capabilities, delivered at scale. Enterprise Services' current scope includes Global Real Estate, Procurement, Travel, Meetings & Events and Business Intelligence & Analytic teams. The scope is planned to expand, in order to further enable BCG’s growth, protects its brand, enhance employee sustainability, progress our net-zero goals and provide cost-advantage. In this way, Enterprise Services lives BCG’s purpose of unlocking the potential of those who advance the world.

This highly dynamic and relationship-oriented HR Director role has three primary focuses:
1. Designing and operationalizing innovative programs that support a “best place to work environment” and maximize employee engagement.
2. Partnering with service line leaders to define and deliver the resource plan that will underpin Enterprise Service's growth in our New Delhi centre.
3. Facilitating the annual performance development, talent management and compensation review cycles for multiple service lines.

Additionally, you will:
• Operate as a key business partner and subject matter expert to Enterprise Services through business knowledge, HR expertise, relationship management and proactive interventions.
• Provide guidance and coaching on organizational and team design, location decisions, career pathing, performance management and capability-building, in line with the Enterprise Services people strategy.
• Be a proactive, approachable and highly visible member of the New Delhi office and be the point person for Enterprise Services HR for assigned client groups, supported by the HR Operations, HR Shared Services and Recruiting teams.
• Partner with senior leadership in the New Delhi office to create a culture of positivity, innovation and service-orientation for Enterprise Services colleagues.
• Stay closely connected with our Recruiting teams to ensure that the Enterprise Services resource plan is executed efficiently to equip the organization with first-class talent within the required parameters.
• Ensure Enterprise Services new joiners are successfully onboarded, are clear on their purpose and feel supported and integrated into the wider Enterprise Services organization.
• Oversee career development for Enterprise Services employees, ensuring vibrant and effective development opportunities and compelling growth trajectories.
• Analysis, interpretation and communication of employee engagement survey outcomes and contribution to the creation of related action plans.
• Act as a catalyst for change; guides and influences organizational design, development and change management solutions. Leads the implementation of organizational change from a people perspective, collaborating closely with our Communications lead.
• Uses analytics and trend analysis to help shape HR strategies and processes to support business objectives.
• Collaborates to develop robust talent management plans to attract, retain, develop and engage talent in critical roles and ensure strong succession plans.
• Partners with the HR teams of other GS functions to execute GSHR initiatives.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• A strong track record as a HR professional in a global, fast-paced, intellectually intense and matrix-structured environment and of reporting to a leader located in a different region.
• A proven ability to drive business value (ideally during rapid growth & change) through effective people initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills. Successful in building trust & credibility with senior leaders and influencing in high-stakes scenarios.
• A depth of experience in employee development, management coaching, organizational design, recruiting, compensation, employee relations and HR project management and program implementation.
• A positive, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach, with a high degree of professionalism.
• An in-depth understanding of the New Delhi market for talent and experience of living & working in India and familiarity with the nuances of Indian culture.
• Structured thinking and the skills to translate ideas into a coherent proposal/presentation/argument.
• Clear, concise verbal communication skills, with absolutely fluency in English.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, coupled with skills & confidence to operate autonomously
• Ability to handle competing priorities with flexibility, whilst maintaining strategic alignment.
• Ability to manage projects in a timely manner whilst keeping stakeholders engaged & informed.
• Excellent coaching and facilitation skills, with experience of leading workshops and presenting at meetings.
• Analytical skills with ability to use data to form hypotheses, draw insights, form narratives, and to prioritize and influence decisions. Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills a must.
• Ability to use experience and judgment to make decisions that may be based on partial information.
• Experience of working with colleagues from different parts of the world, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and an ability to develop relationships in a virtual context.
• A sense of humour and an appetite to be part of a friendly, committed and progressive HR team.

Preferred:
• Progression within an international HR team in a Shared Services organization
• Sound knowledge of Indian employment law and practice
• Workday super-user
• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar
• Professional qualification in HR
• Formal coaching certification
YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will report to the Senior HR Director for Enterprise Services (based in Europe), and work alongside another HR Business Partner (based in the US) as a tight team of three, but also part of the broader Global Services HR community. Together we will support the Enterprise Services organization, which currently comprises circa 300 employees across the globe, with concentrations in New Delhi, London, Boston and Madrid. Your principal stakeholders will be Executive Directors, Senior Directors, Directors and Senior Managers, partnering with them to drive performance, deliver an outstanding employee experience for their teams and to meet the organizational needs of this new, dynamic and rapidly expanding part of BCG
