• Implement best practices of TQM & value engineering
• Develop and implement strategies for operational excellence
• Improve productivity, quality awareness and compliance
• Develop new product variations and cost effective alternatives
• Train and develop team on technical capabilities
• Improve network and liaison with relevant authorities
• Guide to set up good practices in the units & maintain healthy IR
• Responsible for the overall P&L of the units
• Overview business growth for the vertical
• Independently handle green field projects from conception to commissioning
Candidate Profile:
20+ years total experience preferably in both medium & large manufacturing units managing
production volumes and operation of multiple plants.
• Hardcore production person, having good knowledge and experience to turnaround units in
productivity and overall operational excellence.
• Exposure in export oriented manufacturing plants
• Good customer orientation
• Work experience in West Bengal for substantial period
• Exposure in setting up new production units green field projects
• Proven strategic contribution in business operation and people management
• Preferable - Experience in plastic packaging, BOPP, PPE, PP liner etc
