We are a dynamic and growing national litigation firm with a strong presence in 21 states. Our Atlanta office is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our Government Law Section.
Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity for an Associate Attorney to join our team and contribute to the success of our Government Law Section. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing initial analysis and developing case strategy. You will also prepare and respond to discovery, take and defend depositions, draft motions, and attend hearings.
Key Responsibilities
Developing case strategy and providing initial analysis.
Preparing and responding to discovery.
Taking and defending depositions.
Drafting motions and attending hearings.
Explaining legal options to clients and bringing possible outcomes or threats to their attention.
Building relationships with clients.
Negotiating, researching, and communicating verbally and in writing effectively.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
In good standing and able to practice law in the state of Georgia.
Strong critical thinking skills and solid academic background.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
