Job description
We are looking for an experienced government procurement specialist to drive our submersible pump business's government tendering and liaison strategy.

This role demands deep knowledge of government procurement systems and the ability to lead end-to-end tender management—from sourcing and bid preparation to post-award execution—while maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with government stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor national/state portals (GeM, eProc, IREPS, PSU portals, Zilla Parishads, PHED, ONGC, Railways) for submersible pump tenders.
Evaluate tender eligibility criteria, specifications, and subsidy scheme requirements.
Government & PSU Liaisoning

Build and maintain strategic relationships with officials in PHED, Panchayati Raj, ONGC, Rail Divisions, municipal corporations, and water departments.
Facilitate approvals, certifications, site surveys, and pre-bid clarifications.
Documentation & Compliance Management

Prepare and manage tender submissions, including EMD, PBG, technical datasheets, warranty certificates, and test reports.
Ensure strict adherence to government procurement norms and subsidy program guidelines.
Post-Award Contract Execution Support

Track award notifications and support technical handovers.
Coordinate delivery, installation, commissioning, and O&M contract requirements.
Manage field-level reporting, subsidy disbursement schedules, and reimbursement documentation.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

4+ years of experience in submersible pump tendering and government procurement.
Proven track record managing tenders worth ₹10 million+ (including rural water supply scheme projects).
Deep understanding of government buying processes (PHED, Zilla Parishad, ONGC, Railways, Panchayati Raj, GeM/eProc).
Technical familiarity with borewell pumps (10–50 HP), sewage pumps, test certifications, and maintenance contracts.
Strong soft skills in relationship-building, negotiation, compliance management, and cross-functional coordination.
