We are in need of a meticulous Grant Accountant to become part of our team based in Tacoma, Washington. Occupying a role within the non-profit industry, you will be tasked with managing over a hundred grants, ensuring accurate grant and government billing, and performing annual grant reporting. This role also includes cross-training and working with different accounting software systems.Responsibilities:• Handle the billing process for state, federal, and local grants• Implement and manage a newly purchased grant module• Cross-train with team members to ensure smooth workflow• Address any issues related to grant billing during the absence of team members• Manage multiple grants which may have their own portal• Collaborate with the accounting manager for state reporting requirements.
