We are seeking a seasoned Power BI Architect and Visualization Expert with a strong background in Power BI architecture, infrastructure setup, advanced data visualization, and optimization using the Azure tech stack. The ideal candidate will independently guide and advise on Power BI setup, work with Microsoft support for infrastructure issues, and deliver top-tier visualization solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Power BI Architecture & Setup:
Hands-on experience with Power BI architecture and infrastructure for over 5 years.
Expertise in setting up Power BI environments, including licensing and infrastructure management.
Collaborate with Microsoft support for troubleshooting and enhancing Power BI setup.
Data Visualization & Reporting:
Over 10 years of experience in developing advanced data visualization solutions.
Create engaging and insightful dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Embedded Power BI on Azure.
Translate business requirements into actionable visual insights.
Performance Optimization:
Expert in optimizing existing Power BI infrastructure and applications for enhanced performance.
Conduct data analysis and improve efficiency in data processing and visualization.
Data Modeling & Ingestion:
Proficient in data modeling, creating datasets, and designing logical data flows.
Experience with data ingestion into Power BI from diverse data sources, including SSAS cubes.
Client Communication & Requirement Analysis:
Excellent client-facing skills to understand, communicate, and deliver project requirements effectively.
Convert business requirements into technical specifications and logical designs.
Data Analysis & Solution Design:
Perform thorough data analysis and create solutions tailored to client requirements.
Evaluate existing data models to ensure they align with project goals.
Required Skills:
Power BI Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Power BI dashboards, reports, and all visualization types.
Azure Tech Stack: Proficiency in leveraging Azure for data visualization and embedding.
Performance Tuning: Advanced knowledge in optimizing Power BI performance and infrastructure.
Data Modeling: Strong expertise in data modeling and ingestion techniques.
SSAS Cubes: Experience in utilizing SSAS cubes for Power BI reporting.
Client Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
