GeneralDescription: TheHead of Finance and Accounting is in charge of all accountingactivities of both financial and managing nature. The Head ofFinance and Accounting covers all areas of operations, guaranteesthat financial controls are sustained, produces timely financialstatements and performance reports, and assists departments withtheir annual budgets, reviews, and internalcontrols.
Responsibilities:
• Policiesand ProceduresImplementation: Develops,supervises and implements all relevant policies, processes,standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work iscarried out in a controlled and consistentmanner.
• PeopleManagement: Supervisesthe work of the accounting team, ensures compliance with laws andOrder s policies and provides direct and indirect feedback toensure that work is carried out in an efficientway.
• CareerDevelopment: Advisesteam members on their performance within the accounting departmentand on their career progression prospects within thedepartment.
• EffectiveEmployeeRelations: Investigatesand resolves workplace issues, ensuring the overall wellbeing ofemployees and providing a safe work environment free fromdiscrimination andharassment.
• ContinuousImprovement: Contributesto the identification of gaps in the Department for continuousimprovement of the Order. Works towards improving and developingtheirskills.
Salary:40,000.00 - 65,000.00 peryear
