Your key responsibilities:
Managing Employee Relations, which shall include training, compliances, policy administration, grievance handling, conflict resolution, complaints management
Managing Industrial Relations, which shall include collective bargaining, communication with unions, labor contract management, defining wage settlement agreement, ensuring necessary compliance pertaining blue collar employees
Designing/ supporting in designing the Employee Welfare and Benefits program, which shall aim at improving physical, mental and financial well being of employees
Responsible for Statutory Compliance and Laisoning with the Govt. Authorities pertaining to EPFO, ESIC, Bonus related matters
Ensure Manpower Planning and Recruitment (hiring under BOAT, govt. schemes, Technician & Trainee Technicians)
Ensuring the support to management staff in global performance appraisal and talent management processes
Lead India payroll team for payroll administration (including OT calculations, deductions, recoveries) of operatives, temp staff, daily wage workers (if applicable)
Continuous review of labor contract licenses against the actual number of labors deployed and also to ensure that such deployed resources are churned out to meet the legal requirement so as to avoid any consequences which may arise due to non-review or non-compliance
Maintaining harmonious relation with the unions and other affiliates which has direct or indirect involvement in dealings with union
Implementing Employee Engagement and DEI initiatives in line with the global standard practices and as per the objective set by the management
Supporting management is CSR activities
HR Budget preparation for Plant
Responsible for Data Management, Reports Management, Data Analytics
Submitting periodical reports to the management w.r.t. updates in labor laws & related guidelines and also to align with the respective internal & external authorities to ensure compliance.
Accountable for carrying out various internal and external audits by tracking the historical developments, discussions and by taking the corrective measures wherever it is applicable
Supporting L&D initiatives and deliver the basis programs pertaining to values, code of conduct, GDPR etc.
Ensure that operatives and trainee technicians/ technicians are being provided mandatory learning programs
What we expect from you:
Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
15 years of experience in plant HR management
In-depth knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliances
Experience in government laisoning, filing returns for various statutory payments
Strong understanding of wage settlement agreements
Leadership and communication skills
Ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proven track record in driving HR initiatives and programs
Strong organizational and time management skills
Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards
