Talentedge are currently supporting the hiring of a newly created Head of Accounting vacancy for a rapidly expanding, highly acquisitive SaaS business headquartered in London. As the Head of Accounting, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance to support growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial reporting
• Leading process of the group Audit
• Lead on the acquisition & integration accounting
• Writing accounting policies
• Preparation of consolidated and single company statutory financial statements
Tax
• Overseeing tax matters including, R&D claims, VAT reviews, transfer pricing studies and corp tax
Management Accounts
• Responsible for consolidation and management account board pack
• Review of Management Accounting work.
• Ensure reporting timeframe is adhered to
Other
• Develop processes for cash forecasting needs
• Oversight of financial reporting requirements in overseas subsidiaries
• Process improvement and project work as required
• Support training and development of juniors
Qualifications:
• Qualified Chartered Accountant, ACA
• Extensive financial reporting, consolidation and single entity
• Exposure to M&A/Integration accounting
• Experience within a scaling tech business advantageous
