Job Title: Head of Marketing – Domestic Market
Location: Mumbai
About the Client: Our client is a leading sustainable packaging company with interests in paperboard, flexible packaging.
Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to manage the existing clients and develop new business sector.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement the marketing strategy with a focus on creating and developing the laminate business and enhancing market share.
• Business Development for Domestic market in India. Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets
• Provide direction to your department. Perform market research and analysis.
• Leading & Motivating the customer development team to achieve target
• The incumbent will be required to make extensive visits to new clients, all over India.
• Should be well versed with the packaging market in Flexibles and must have experience of client servicing of large FMCG’s.
• Follow ups with Internal & External customers.
• Preparation of business plan and MIS reports for the marketing
• The candidate should be self-starter and should have good market knowledge.
• Work with team members to establish goals and advise on ways to improve performance, achieve goals and help sales to obtain expected quotas
• Develop strategic and tactical sales initiatives that meet or exceed budget objectives for profitable short- and long-term goals and market share objectives.
Educational Qualifications And Experience
• Postgraduate with 15 - 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the packaging industry preferably flexible packaging / Laminates
• Ability to communicate, present and influence clients and internal team. Internal reporting team size is about 20 members
• Proven ability to problem-solving negotiations
• Proven ability to position products against competitors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
