The Role
Reporting to the Director - Teaching and Learning, the Head of Professional Learning is responsible for fostering a culture of continuous professional growth and excellence across all staff at Caulfield Grammar School, including both teaching and non-teaching staff. This role is key to ensuring the long-term sustainability of the professional learning framework, adapting it over time to meet the evolving needs of the school.
This newly created, full-time, permanent position offers a multi-campus opportunity starting in January 2025, with flexibility for the right candidate. As the Head of Professional Learning, you will ensure all staff are equipped for high-quality education and operational excellence through tailored mentoring and professional development programs.
Skills and Experience
Experience in coordinating coaching and mentoring programs, providing mentors with the necessary support and training for consistent, impactful delivery.
Excellent ability to collaborate with stakeholders to align professional development programs with school goals and to meet compliance standards.
Tertiary qualifications in Education, Professional Learning, Human Resources, or a related field relevant to staff development and growth.
Postgraduate qualifications in a related field and certification in coaching, mentoring, or leadership development are desirable, or a willingness to undertake relevant certifications.
Experience in leading professional development initiatives in educational or corporate settings, focusing on both teaching and school service staff.
Hold or willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check.
