HEAD - PURCHASE & PROCUREMENT
BE (Mechanical) / MBA in Material Management, preferred or equivalent with Minimum 15 years of experience. Should have handled the entire gamut of Purchase, Sourcing, Supply Chain Management & Vendor Development at a leadership level for atleast 3 years of the total experience.
Areas of expertise must include, procurement, material management, sourcing, strategic planning and vendor management.
Must be deft in negotiating & finalizing annual rate contracts for commodities, component bought outs, import procedures and strong technical know how.
Incumbents from background of pumps & pipes other than valves will also be considered.
Must possess strong leadership qualities, planning skills and penchant for quality and on time delivery.
Core competencies to include customer focus, inventory control, team building and high result orientation.
Candidates with experience in sectors like manufacturing, Petrochemicals and Oil & Gas can also apply.
