Position Overview
As Head of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining comprehensive quality standards across our high-stakes assessment platforms. You'll lead a team dedicated to ensuring our products meet rigorous requirements for accuracy, security, accessibility, and compliance. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of assessment experiences that significantly impact learners' educational and professional futures.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and methodologies specific to high-stakes testing environments
Build and lead a diverse team of QA professionals with expertise in educational assessment technologies
Establish robust testing protocols for security, data integrity, and test-delivery reliability
Implement automated and manual testing frameworks that address the unique challenges of assessment platforms
Enhance the technical Performance testing capabilities to enable repeatable processes for load, soak and stress testing at scale.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Project Management teams to identify and mitigate potential quality risks
Develop metrics and reporting systems to track quality performance and drive continuous improvement
Lead incident response and resolution for critical quality issues
Stay current with evolving standards and best practices in assessment security and integrity
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of QA experience with 5+ years in leadership roles
Demonstrated experience with high-stakes testing platforms or similarly critical applications
Strong understanding of testing methodologies for complex software systems
Experience with security testing, accessibility compliance, and technical performance testing.
Experience implementing and managing automated testing frameworks
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to advocate for quality across the organization
